Hey
Cru,
January 19, 2010
I
swear 2010 is gonna be a great year. So
what do you say we drink some wine? Sis
and I made it to and from the mountains with
her family once again. Wii had a great
time, the skiing was superb but it was damn
cold. It was also a bit ironic that we
drove 15 hours to have a white Christmas and
it ended up snowing in Granbury the night
before Christmas. How fun!
There are still some tickets left for the
Nicolle Clawson performance Friday night,
January 22. She is flying in from Nashville
to do the gig. Are we stepping out there or
what? It will cost $15 and the doors will
open at 7:00 with showtime about 8:00. It
will be inside and intimate as usual. RSVP
at 817-579-0007. Here is a link to check
her out.

Our next First Friday event will be on
February 5th from 7 till 11. We
are still working out the details of the
live music for the night but rest assured it
will be great (well at least Live) So
bring your wine related morsels and your
attitudes. We will pop the appropriate
corks to make the occasion flow.
This first weekend in February is also the
Way out Wineries Mardi Gras Road trip. This
is a fun, value packed event that combines
wine tastings, food pairings and coon ass
fun. Check out the details and signup
at www.wayoutwineries.org
Not to be outdone by Bass Hall for the month
we have booked Billy McLaughlin for a live
performance on February 12th.
Again the doors open at 7:00, show starts at
8:00 and we will be pulling corks. Billy
played here last year and delivered a memory
for a packed house. He is coming back from
Minnesota for this special performance.
$20 Call 8175790007 for tickets. Check
out this link for a peek at his profile. He
is inspirational to say the least

Fat Tuesday is February 16th and
we are teaming up with Café Nutt for a Cajun
wine, food extravaganza. Give them a buzz
at 8175796868 and talk to Phillip.
I would be remiss if I didn’t mention
Valentine day and how wine makes the perfect
gift for that occasion (I have found out in
the past that this applies to everybody
except me) dah!
Thanks for the support. Stay tuned for news
regarding our wine club for 2010. Ideas are
spinning in our heads. Ole cellar and the
corkster will be waiting for you. As ever,
tiberia
